              Stampin' Jo's Studio

This is where all of my creating happens. I am lucky enought to have 'commandeered' our third bedroom for the sole purpose of having a place to work. This is actually a sanity saver for both David and myself. David is a very... neat.... person, and well, I'm NOT... having my own place to work means that I can leave my messes out, and simply close the door. David, in turn, can simply pretend that it doesn't exist, and it works out well for both of us!! I try to tidy up between projects, and I 'think' that I'm getting better, but it can still get out of control occasionally! (Oh, and yes, I did tidy up just for these photos, although like I said, I am getting better at keeping things neat! I think David is rubbing off on me!!) I know it looks quite plain and boring right now, but that's because we are renting, and I can't do anything too permanent. I would love different coloured walls and I would LOVE to utilize the wall space for storage in the ways of peg-board and shelves, but alas... that will have to wait until we get our own place!

              Booth Photos

Chronologically, These are the various booths that I have had throughout the few years that I have been doing this. You can see how they have evolved over time, with products being added and taken away, display options being changed, etc etc.

The Mall At Piccadilly Christmas Booth

Sorry about the quality of the photos - my camera died, so I took them with my phone. I thought they would turn out better, but by the time I got them on my computer, I had already torn the booth down... I started this booth with the same boards that I used at the market, but they were too high to comply with mall regulations. I had to go out and get these grids (which I LOVE) and will continue to use them for future displays.

              Shuswap Farm & Craft Market

These photos were taken before any of the other vendors showed up for the day. I am, and always will be, an early riser. I usually get to market as one of the first five vendors, and take my time setting up. The boards that you see were designed and built (with a tiny bit of help from the hubby) all by myself. I am quite proud of them, although they are bulky, heavy and awkward!! Once the rest of the vendors arrive, I have neighbors on both sides.
